Dad is immensely happy. He immediately tells you he loves you, and is effusive in his emotional response. Never mind, that was a dream you had since you fell asleep on the way back home with your family. You suddenly remember what really happened: Dad’s consciousness has been transferred into an android. Upon his rescue he wryly said “thanks, daughter #2.” Despite now being a robot, you notice no difference in his personality. He sees Joey and gives him a high five. Only the second ever given out. Turns out he was waving to his android friend Shaun 4000. Don’t tell your brother he’ll stop working so hard once he realizes there is no golden approval to be had and you need him to cover your travel bills.
